On Saturday, September 24, 2011, Tamworth Toastmasters Club celebrated the 45th anniversary of its formation and chartering in 1966.

A special function was held in the Grand Ballroom at Wests Diggers where almost 100 guests, former members and current members attended.

The night was a double celebration as we also celebrated the charter of a new Toastmasters club in Tamworth, North West Speakers & Leaders – a monthly meeting advanced club.

President John Taylor presented special certificates of appreciation on the night to the club's longer standing members. Bob Kirchner (behind the camera) also received one).
